DS Varsity back to the winning ways..... 1-0 vs Westwood
After a long, early season break, DSGS was ready and eager to get back on the turf against Westwood. Hope Shue gave DS the lead early in the match and the 1 goal advantage was all it took to secure the win. DS moved the ball well and created several opportunities,, but were unable to extend the lead. Solid defensive play and work from keeper, Sabrina Doyle, gave DS their 4th clean-sheet of the season
DS Varsity suffers first loss of season to Medway, 2-1
DSGS Varsity was geared up for a big TVL match up against Medway at home on 9/18. DS came out strong with solid ball movement, but Medway capitalized on an early defensive miscue by the Raiders to go up 1-0. Just before the half, Liv Maier's free kick nailed the cross bar in an attempt to tie. Second half saw a more organized DS side and a bit more even play, although shots on goal massively favored Medway, and eventually Medway netted another goal to go up 2-0. Lady Raiders never gave up and with about 15 min left in the contest, Annie Parizeau took a pass from Lily Thomson and buried it to get DS on the board. Intensity was high for the final minutes but the Raiders were unable to get the tie.

DSGS Varsity , playing their third game in 5 days, has to settle for yet another 0-0 tie, this time against Ashland. The Lady Raiders were unable to capitalize on a few chances in the first half and fell flat for the rest of the match. Once again, not a lot of highlights to speak about in this game. Time to regroup and focus on big TVL match up ve Medway on Monday, 9/18.

DS Varsity ties Millis 0-0
DSGS Varsity , playing their second game in 3 days, has to settle for a 0-0 tie with Millis. Not a lot of highlights to speak about in this game. The roster was a bit thin due to injuries and players like Bella Tate and Ava Kaplan stepped up in a big way to fill some voids. time to move on and prepare for Friday vs Ashland.

DS Varsity beats TVL rival Medfield
DSGS Varsity takes their game on the road and beats TVL rival Medfield 2-1 in a battle of a game! The first half saw DS take a 1-0 lead. First goal came after a hard fought battle in the box was won by Hope Shue and she dished it off to Lily Thomson, who buried in the net for a 1-0 lead. Goal number two, came early in the second half off a long free kick that was taken by Liv Maier and was put on frame and with pace and was enough to earn DS their second goal. The remainder of the second half saw a quick Medfield goal followed by a flurry of spectacular saves by Sabrina Doyle to preserve the DS win!

DS Varsity wins opener against Dedham
DSGS Varsity wins season opener 2-0 vs new TVL opponent, Dedham. Early goal by Syd McLaughlin got the momentum going for DS and the Lady Raiders maintained the pressure throughout. The second, and clinching goal came as Cricket Simms scored off a well placed cross from Hope Shue

DS falls to Norwell in heartbreaker
DS post-season action comes to an end after falling to Norwell 1-2 in a hard fought battle. The Raiders had solid possession and played a great game. They created several opportunities on set pieces, however, they were unable to convert .

DS 7-2 over Bristol Plymouth
DS extends their tournament run with a convincing 7-2 win over top seeded Bristol-Plymouth. The Lady Raiders saw plenty of scoring action from a variety of players.
DS 6-0 over Tri-County
Opening their tournament play with a home win against Tri-County, the Lady Raiders look forward to continuing their post-season success
